Started at 15yrs old and served my time in joinery and have been doing the job I love ever since. I am now 43yrs old. I made and fitted kitchens , stairs , fitted bedrooms, wooden or laminate floors , doors , windows , studdings , casings , skirtings and architraves. Basically anything to do with being a joiner. I have been self employed for 4 years and employ 1 other joiner. I strongly believe in having "pride" in the job and all work to be carried out to the best possible. Saftey , cleanleness and a professional/friendly attitude is also very important. And lastly for the past 12 mths I have been a foreman in charge of all joinery on an £8 million build in birkenhead wirral and have thoroughly enjoyed the work and responsibility.
