BUDGET £3500 - Hillside garden - downward sloap. Decking leads to first terrace which has concrete retaining wall that is unfinished with no steps. Turf is required on this terrace. retaining wall finished and steps built. Second terrace is much the same, however has no retaining wall and approx 2 - 2.5m drop. Second terrace requires truf and similar retaining wall built with steps leading to uneven final terrace which requires clearing and turf. Mature hedgerow and gate leading to communal field are at end of Garden. Ideally retaining walls will be rendered and painted. Steps off first retaining wall will be curved, cut into the soil and each step faced off with sleepers and topped off with a subcompound. The second retaining wall will be a flipped mirror image of the first retaining wall. I have had quotes for work from two landscape gardeners who both came in at £7500 for work described. Considering the budget I would be willing to go back to these quotes and have half the work done now and half later, ideally I need something for the kids to play on for the summer. Can anyone on here come in with a much better quote for the work?
Brickwork at top of extension area appears to be leaking, staining on interior wall noted. Need someone to come inspect and fix the problem.
Garage conversion West molesey, surrey
I have building regulation approval for a utility room, toilet and study to be fitted into an existing garage. It requires a brick wall and window to the front and stud walls between the rooms.
The front of the house needs some repainting: the front door and frame, the front bay window and the top two windows. The house is a Victorian terrace although the windows are no longer sash.
plaster ceiling and walls.- 1 wall needs to be built out slightly, possibly requires sand and cementing.
Brand new property with a back garden that will require de weeding etc, then a patio to be laid at the back door with a path leading to bottom of garden where another patio will be required, in bewteen a lawn will be laid.. I do not have the meaurements but I will be available to see a rep from the companies to inspect the garden before a qoute is provided.
I have 2 bedrooms, 1 approximately 7m x 6m and the other 6m x 3m with bad water stains from a leak. I would like them repainted (Emulsion) celling and walls
We require quotes to remove our roof tiles and supplying and laying felt and insulation before relaying roof tiles. We anticipate that the batons made need replacing however the roof tiles are in good order and shouldn't need replacing. We do have some spare roof tiles in case any do need replacing. Please also quote for felt without insulation.
Plastering downstairs toilet Downswood, Maidstone
To re-plaster the walls in the downstairs bathroom - We have been told that some areas will need plasterboarding first as the room does have some boxing in which cannot be plastered over as it stands and would require this to be carried out as well.
I have an area of tiles in both my shower and bath where the grouting is coming out. In the shower it is around the bottom and the seal on the shower tray is no longer attached. As a lot of debris is coming into the shower from behind the tiles, a few might need to be re-tiled or grouted. In the bath there are a couple of loose tiles and also where we have attached a shower head to the wall cracks have appeared in the grouting. Please can someone come and take a look.
