rebuild one pillar about a ft square out of blocks or bricks then render 3 pillars with beads and sand and cement 4:1 mix , pillars approx 1 meter high. also simple decorative bricks on top of rebuilt pillar
We would like to replace existing floor tiles with new tiles. The area is approx. 20 sq. metres. (Kitchen 5x3 m, loo 1.5x1 m, hallway 4x1 m). I would like to know how much it would be for you to complete the job, both with you removing existing floor and us doing it ourselves. We would invite you to come around before submitting a quote. We are also thinking of having underfloor heating. Please can you advise if that is possible and if you could supply and fit. Thank you
Bathroom plugholes constantly get blocked and thermostatic shower stopped working even though it has a shower pump fitted.
Garage conversion West molesey, surrey
I have building regulation approval for a utility room, toilet and study to be fitted into an existing garage. It requires a brick wall and window to the front and stud walls between the rooms.
Hello. We have recently bought a small semi in Sheffield; it is part-finished and there are a number of jobs to be sorted in there. We need to sort out the following stuff: 1. Strip out old family bathroom and place a new suite 2. Strip out old wall-paper and sand/paint walls 3. Cavity wall insulation 4. Tarmaic front driveway 5. Strip off rear garden concrete slabs and replace with turf 6. Finish up a half-done downstairs extension with: plaster/paint walls, install a door, install a downstairs WC/cloakroom and some utility cabinets 7. Strip out old wardrobes in two rooms; build new made-to-size ones. 8. Replace old wiring around the house with new and install light fittings/switchboards
Rebuild a front porch East ilsley
We currently have an enclosed front porch which has a pitced roof but is in a poor state of repair. It appears to be made primarily of wood, with imitation slate tiles on the roof. We would like it made slightly bigger and DPC put in as this was not done on original build. We would also like a small window fitted at the rear and an overhang at the front to shelter under when unlocking the door when it rains.
Some re-wiring to be done, additional sockets/switches installation. additional ceiling lighting to install. small jobs but many of them
Require a 7ft(L) x 3ft(W) cat pen dismantling in Bebington, and transported to Warrington and reassembled. The height is approx 6ft so would probably need a transit sized van to move.
Damp Halstead
To remove the skirting boards on the internal party wall downstairs and the side external gable wall, remove the plaster to 1 metre high, insert a Permagard Microguard damp proof course into both lengths of walls and leave to dry out. Re-plaster using a washed sand and cement and skim to a smooth finish, supply and fix new skirting boards. Remove all spoil and to remove and make good the damp affected area of plaster in the front bedroom upstairs. Fix a hole in soffit.
To build a fitted wardrobe with tongue and grove pine doors to match existing fitted wardrobe in another room (has a rustic appearance). Size is approximately 2.73 high x 3.4m wide, but has a sloping ceiling at one end. Would like a mixture of hanging and shelved storage with space for a concealed TV. Will have to remove existing small vanity unit & sink.
