The bathroom is currently separated from the toilet by a wall and we would like the wall knocked down and one of the doors filled in. The wall length is the same as the average bath. There is no rush for the job at the moment but are curious as to the potential cost. As far as we know there are no electrical wires in the wall.

Basically, the pond pump appears to have died with no warning signs (working fine night before). If - as I fear - the pump needs replacing then it may be that a small area of patio & lawn will need to be excavated to remove electric cables (unless it's possible to just remove the pump from the cable). I'm not 100% sure if it is the pump though; it may be the case that no power is getting to the pump as there is no humming etc when pump is switched on. My feeling, though, is that it must be the pump - this was installed on 26th April 2005 so has lasted over 5 years. So in short I need the pump to be checked out & replaced with a new one if required & possibly a complete new filtration system too as this is also over 5 years old & the ultra violet light tube definitely needs to be replaced.
I need a cat flap fitted into a solid oak back door. I would like a custom one, the surround in the shape of a gothic arch to match the others in the property. Suggestions welcome
