Wet Room Installation in FY4

Job Description:
In total, there are 13 bedrooms. 12 rooms are supposed to be wet rooms, and 6 of them had been completed. We have realised after inspection that the wet rooms has been constructed wrongly especially the flooring and we need a company to take over the work. The following should give an idea on the scale of the work that is required. Building control will also be out during the periods of the work, so they will be inspecting the work required. Work that is required to be carried out and proposal of work Wet Rooms (12 rooms) • Strip out wet rooms and remove waste to skip – retain the sanitary ware and showers for refitting • 1st fix plumbing & electrics • Room 2 which has a soil stack running from the basement to the room and into the room 1 & 2, needs to be carefully looked in. This soil pipe appears to have a back fall, we would seek an alternative route or breakup the rear floor as necessary to rectify it. • Moisture plasterboard applied to walls. Current wall boards are not moisture plasterboard or tile backer boards. Tank walls with new tanking system. • Moisture plasterboard applied to ceilings and skimmed • Wet room floor to be built along with joist with noggins. This is to give the base for the wet room kit to be installed. The floors need WBP plywood laid on top, the wet room floor kit laid on next, and then tiled. • Wet room floor kit installation including waste trap (supplied by you) • Tiling of all walls and floor (all tiles and trims to be supplied by customer) • 2nd fix plumbing and electrics (all sanitary ware and electric shower and downlights to be supplied by customer) Bathroom (Ground Floor) • Strip out existing bathroom suite and retain • 1st fix plumbing & electrics • Moisture plasterboard applied to walls • Moisture plasterboard applied to ceilings and skimmed • Tiling of all walls and floor (all tiles and trims to be supplied by customer) • 2nd fix plumbing and electrics (all sanitary ware and electric shower and downlights to be supplied by customer) Basement (new toilet room) • 1st fix plumbing & electrics • Levelling the floor • Tiling of all walls and floor (all tiles and trims to be supplied by customer) • 2nd fix plumbing to install new toilet and basin including the macerator for the waste. Basement (new kitchen area) • 1st fix plumbing, and ensure waste connections for 4 x washing machine/tumble dryer and sink • Install taps including hot and cold water Basement (combi boiler) • Combi boiler installed 12 months ago, needs to be inspected, corrected and made Gas safe. • Ensure all piping work is correct. Soil Stack Reconcile outside property for all the 13 rooms • Rectify the soil stacks and ensure drainage into the wet rooms etc. is sufficient • Undertake test to supplies to feeds and wastes
