Job Description:
An estimate is required before the Exchange of Contracts so that a rough idea is gathered for refurbishment work of a house. The house was built in 1955 approximately. It has had one owner since it was built. It is an end of terrace, 2 bedrooms, with lounge, kitchen, hallway, upstairs bathroom, with separate toilet and front porch located in Brentwood, CM13 2DB Plumbing replaced throughout as lead piping may have been used. Asbestos cold water storage tank removed from loft. Outside water stop cock fitted and drainage inspection panel. Rear hopper pipe outside and gulley replaced. Central heating replaced (Combo boiler fitted) throughout the house or/plus solar or PV panels fitted to the roof. Front porch rebuilt, fitted with double glazing and PVC door. Front corner of house and chimney repointed and capped. House rewired fully to current day standards. Kitchen refitted, pantry wall knocked down, downstairs toilet installed under stairs. Gas and electric points may be required. (Sorry to be so scarce on detail) Bathroom fitted (standard toilet, sink and bath with shower fitted above bath), and toilet wall knocked down adjacent to bathroom. (Sorry to be so scarce on detail) Outhouse demolished and asbestos roof removed. Apple tree pruned and cut back. Front garden parking space created for off street parking. House decorated throughout after internal work completed. Please provide an estimate for the cost of work and duration. Thanks.
