Dpc and dpm for 1830 cottage
Posted 27 July 2010
Job Description:
Hi, We've recently bought an 1830 semi-detached cottage. We've been advised to have a damp proof course completed along with a damp proof membrane. It's a small cottage, downstairs consists of just a living room and kitchen, both around 12' x 12'. We plan to replaster anyway and will be using our own plasterer to do this. The walls will have been chipped down to brick in preparation. I don't plan to dig the concrete floor up myself though so this will need doing. One thing to bear in mind is that there isn't brilliant access to the property (steep steps from a main road) and there is no driveway for a van or skip. I'd like approx costs along with approx timescales please. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks
