One of the most popular jobs we get posted on FindaTrade by homeowners is for Bathroom renovations. The size and variations of the requests we receive are huge and it really shows that there are a lot of individual tastes out there when it comes to a new bathroom design.
I am planning to renovate my bathroom, and it’s amazing how carried away you can get on designing such a small part of the house. A bathroom for many is a place to relax and unwind, and when looking to a buy a property a bathroom is one of the most important rooms when deciding if the property is right for you and your family. It can be very difficult if you have limited space and this is what I’m up against at the moment. I have a dream of a free standing bath, but reality is that I will not be able to fit one in!! Although, it is amazing at what you can do with limited space and the different colour schemes available to make the most of the area you have. So when choosing your design it is very important to take this in to account and get this right!!
We are very lucky these days, it is so easy to type in to Google ‘bathroom’, click on images and up comes all the bathroom designs under the sun. It’s not along until you find one you like and then go about deciding if that design will work in your home. There are also useful apps such as Color Smart and Dulux which will all allow you to view your rooms with the colour you a looking to use and see how this will look on your walls before you purchase the paint.
Another way to get good ideas is by talking to the tradesperson who will be installing your bathroom and to look through their portfolio of previous work to help get fresh idea’s. I struggle with ideas as I’m not a very creative person, so the internet and useful apps available really help me get inspired, best of all their free and easy to use.
Below are some of the ideas I have found and really liked and hope mine to look like – I wanted to share these gorgeous bathrooms with you.
