We currently have a jaccuzzi bath which is not flush against the wall, but has a âborderâ. I have photos of the work I can send once you have made contact. When showering water collects in the âborderâ, becoming moat-like, and eventually spills over the side of bath, creating severe damp/buckling in the wooden bath panels and flooding the tiled floor. I will be letting this property shortly and therefore need to leave the bathroom in a state where the water collecting does not need to be âmanagedâ. I am looking to find a solution to this; without ripping out the entire suite. Options â 1. Create a sloped area so that water flows into the bath 2. Raise the border area so water flows into the bath 3. Complete redesign (not preferable) I need to replace the toilet also which can be incuded within any quotation.

We are replacing an open gas fire with a multifuel stove. The chimney is two-storey, originally built in the 1950s and altered in the 1980s to accommodate the open gas fire and a couple of 45-degree angles. The job is to install a liner, attach a 5kw multi-fuel stove and cap off the existing gas supply. The liner is likely to be 6" (the altered part of the chimney comprises an 8" clay flue) and may require insulation. We have already been quoted what I consider to be an excessive amount by a stove supplier for this work but I would rather it was carried out by a competent, qualified independent tradesman. Please provide a breakdown for labour and materials (excluding stove).
